    Responsibilities

    • Class A CDL with Clean driving record required 
    • High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) preferred
    • Previous experience in standard and high-risk areas a preferred
    • Prior experience in underground fiber and coax construction a plus
    • Previous experience operating a bore machine is required
    • Knowledge of utility depths and placements
    • Possess general knowledge of construction practices
    • Capable of reading and understanding blueprints is required
    • Knowledge of AT machines a plus
    • Knowledge of various cables and drill heads a plus
    • Willing to work outdoors in all types of weather (i.e. snow, rain, wind, etc.) if required

    Qualifications

     

    • Ability to work in various environments/settings with moderate to loud noise levels
    • Equipped to work in trenches, manholes and tunnels
    • Prepared to sit, stand, stop, crouch, reach and lift for long periods of time
    • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
    • Capable to use full-range of motion in fingers, hand and wrists to operate necessary tools/equipment
