  • Overview

    Bear Communications is currently looking for an experienced HRIS Implementation Specialist or Project Manager to handle the national implementation of a new HR Systems / HCM / HRIT related project. Candidates with strong Project Management experience can be considered. The HRIS Analyst / PM role will coordinate and communication between the HR Systems team and the respective users of technology. In this role you will demonstrate excellent communication skills while fostering a positive relationship across all users of HR systems within the Bear organization. The role will also partner with HR, Management, leadership, and outsider vendors to provide recommendations and feedback to improve systems and processes as well as assist with roll out of the new technology or system enhancements. The HRIS Analyst will report to the Vice President of Human Resources


    Ideally, you should possess the following: 
    Experienced in full lifecycle requirement gathering, design, implementation or coding, testing,

    Deployment, and maintenance of the HRIS project
    Strong knowledge of HR and business processes
    Good communication, presentation, consensus building, project management, and root cause analysis skills

    Responsible for incoming ticket inbox and general system support (i.e. password resets, user maintenance, patches etc.) 

    Provide leadership to ensure HRIS system implementation deliverables and milestones are established and met

    Liaise with internal clients and stake holders and perform investigations into issues and provide resolutions 

    Recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions, and major variations 

    Serve as first point of contact for system-related issues and lead training development and execution

    Create or enhance basic process documents related to existing or new systems 


    HR experience and solid understanding of the impact of HR systems 

    HRIS system or general HR system knowledge to execute proper system changes 

    General knowledge of benefits, payroll, learning management systems, performance management systems, and time management concepts 

    Solid understanding of system configurations and data flow between systems 

    Microsoft Office skills to effectively document and/or enhance processes 

    Strong verbal communication and presenations skills to effectively communicate with stakeholders  

    Effective at working in a group setting and communicating amongst the team 

    Strong time and work management skills and ability to prioritize incoming workload on a daily basis 

    Effective communication skills to coordinate resolution of reported issues 

    Ability to create or enhance support documents and quick reference guides on assigned topics 

    Ability to adjust to fast paced work environment 

    Required Education, Certifications/ Licenses, Related Experience 

    BS Degree in related field

    PHR, SPHR preferred.
    Minimum 5 years of direct HRIS experience, project management, and implementations

    Travel Requirements 

    This position commutes between regional offices/distribution centers less than 25% of the time within a day
